Dr. Rebecca Flegal, PT, DPT

Dr. Rebecca Flegal graduated with a Bachelor’s in Community Health Promotion from Northern Arizona University in 2011 and later worked within the school system to promote wellness to 4tth grade children as an effort to teach them skills that may prevent childhood obesity. She continued her education and eventually obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College – Tennessee in 2018.

Dr. “Becky” has a special interest in the rehabilitation of dancers, as she has taught dance for 15 years to children ages 2-18. Other areas of interest for Becky include: rehabilitation of children, and women’s health/rehabilitation, and will pursue a clinical specialization in this area, as she is passionate about assisting women in staying active while they are pregnant as well as regaining their fitness levels after.  Even though these are areas of special interest for Becky, the majority of her clinical experience has been with orthopedic injuries for a wide variety of patients and ages.  She loves treating the “whole person” and enjoys working with a variety of conditions including post-surgical, sports injuries, and other orthopedic conditions, as well as vestibular injuries/rehabilitation.

While not in the clinic, you can find Rebecca spending time with her 3 amazing boys. She and her family enjoy spending most of their time outdoors: hiking, camping, backpacking, and skiing.  Some of her favorite trails include: all mountaintops along the Wasatch Front and Coyote Gulch in Southern Utah.
